The reconstruction of passenger and freight train wheel profiles applying Submerged Arc Welding method with automatic machines using welding flux and alloyed welding wires produced by this company is also considered as our specialized activity. Since the beginning of the Y2K, the consumable welding wire and flux as well as the welding instructions of this company have been used for these services also been provided to other active railway companies. Once the abrasion of the flange profile of the wheel occurs, this profile is repaired by re-welding, and its final dimensions are made by machining ready to be used in the trains.
This process reduces the cutting depth and the machining waste while the wheels can be used for more frequent times. The material used for welding is according to the mechanical properties and hardness of the wheel base material.
